Hindus are 'bharatas' right from ancient past. Etymology of the word Bharata is interesting. It means 'bha-retah' ie, those who "revel in light". Wonderful! How it is in sync with 'chanters of the holy Gayatri mantra'? Gayatri mantra also in essence means the same thing.
